Cornerstones.

We want to be known for engaging Asheville and the world in three specific arenas. Our three Cornerstones serve two purposes. First, we believe these are areas that all those who profess to follow Jesus should engage. They give Canvas a place to live out our core values as acts of obedience to God for his glory and our maturity. Second, we believe by engaging in these areas we will be privileged to work beside and build relationships with those outside of our own community of faith. We believe that our Cornerstones are cyclical and cannot be carried out in isolation. All of them must be fully engaged for any one of them to be completely effective. Care for people is not complete if we do not care for the environment that sustains them. Creativity is essential to express the character of God, and to meet the growing needs of social justice in the world.
